We are extending the same operation in the opposite direction: bringing overseas products into Japan as an exclusive distributor.
1. Test marketing via Japanese crowdfunding.
We launch on Makuake or GREEN FUNDING — among the leading crowdfunding platforms in Japan —
to validate demand and build an initial customer base before committing to volume.
We fund the campaign page, photography, advertising, social media, PR and influencer outreach entirely at our own cost.
2. Direct-to-consumer store.
We build and operate a Japanese Shopify storefront for the brand,
using the customer list and demand data from the campaign.
3. Japanese marketplaces.
Amazon Japan, Rakuten and Yahoo! Shopping — the three largest online malls in Japan.
4. Wholesale to physical retail.
Specialty retailers and the large electronics chains (Yodobashi Camera, Bic Camera),
